How to import our hand-drawn battle maps, assets, character tokens, and other art into Roll20. Designed for those new to the Roll20 virtual tabletop.

The Monster (his name is Yoshi by the way ) can help with obtaining anything you need from Japan, big or small. A monster that wears armor or carries a Shield has an Armor Class (AC) that takes its armor, Shield, and Dexterity into account. Otherwise, a monster’s AC is based on its Dexterity modifier and natural armor, if any. This is the premium level of vault access.

It is loosely based in part on Peter W.'s script called CreateMob which was the inspiration for this script. Go to Roll20 and join your game. Go to your settings panel (top right corner) and choose Import by Category > Monsters. Then choose Custom below that and enter the url pointing to your converted stat block.

Currently I'm using this guide to create monster tokens that I can consistently use for combat encounters; which requires me to either drag and drop preexisting monster information from a library, or manually input the monster information myself. Looking for a way to import a hundred or so 5E monsters into my Roll20 campaign I currently run an in-person game every other week, and have added about a hundred or so hand-created monsters to an iOS app I use called "Game Master 5."
